A new course being offered at Algonquin College (Pembroke Campus) titled “The Ancient Art of Animal Tracking”, with the instructor being our very own Ethan Huner, AOO Resource Technician. This course will commence on February 9, 2016 and will include both in-class and outdoor sessions.

Which animal made those tracks? What was it doing? Learn the ancient art of animal tracking. Through hands-on classroom and field sessions you acquire
the skills and techniques needed to accurately identify tracks and sign, and read the trails and tales of local wildlife. The outdoor enthusiast can enhance
their love of the outdoors to the next level with an appreciation of the habitat of nature's creatures.

My name is Luisa Juhnke and I am a Project Management Intern at wintranslation, a translation and localization firm based in Ottawa, Canada.

We are currently looking for people who would be interested in providing translation services of Aboriginal languages, specifically Algonquin. We are compiling a list of resumes of these potential translators so we can contact them when needed. If you know of someone who would be interested, or if you could refer me to the right person, I would greatly appreciate it.

No degree is necessary; we are mostly looking for a good knowledge of the Aboriginal language and good writing skills.

Thank you for your time.

Sincerely,

Luisa Juhnke

Madame, Monsieur,

Merci,
Cordialement,
Luisa Juhnke
